TURTLES AND WALL DIVING

Bunaken marine park

Located in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, Bunaken Marine National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its incredible marine biodiversity and stunning underwater topography. The park which is located in the most biodiverse corner of the world: In the heart of the Coral Triangle.

The park offers dramatic vertical coral walls adorned with hard and soft corals, sponges, and gorgonian sea fans. It is home to large green turtles, schools of reef fish, and occasional sightings of reef sharks and eagle rays. Visibility here is typically excellent, allowing for breathtaking views of the underwater terrain.

Did we mention turtles ? - If you snorkel or dive doesn't matter - you have a chance to be surrounded by these gentle creatures - sometimes it feels like wherever you watch there are turtles flying by.

Bunaken Day Trip

After an early breakfast, we depart Coral Eye around 7:30 AM for a full-day excursion to Bunaken National Park.
The boat ride takes about 90 minutes.

In the morning, we’ll explore two of Bunaken’s most iconic sites, whether diving or snorkeling.
For lunch, we head to our partner, Siladen Resort, where you’ll enjoy a beachfront meal (weather permitting).
In the afternoon, we dive or snorkel one last time before cruising back to Coral Eye, aiming to return around 5:00 PM.

Due to renovation work at Siladen Resort, from January 5th to April 5th, 2026, lunch arrangements will be organized differently.
