Underwater Landscape
The waters surrounding Coral Eye feature colorful sloping reefs dominated by hard corals and dramatic volcanic pinnacles draped in soft corals, home to an extraordinary variety of marine life.
In contrast, several dive sites around the island are defined by sandy bottoms rich in macro life. Some of these areas have black volcanic sand, reminiscent of the muck diving conditions in the Lembeh Strait, and offer excellent opportunities to spot rare and cryptic species.
Mangrove areas provide a very different habitat, where juvenile fish and small invertebrates thrive among the roots. Just offshore, seagrass beds create feeding grounds for species such as dugongs and add to the island’s overall ecological diversity.

Coral Eye Diving Center
Featuring a terrace right on the beach and a wet room where each guest has his own space to wash and store their diving equipment, our well-equipped dive center is designed to meet the needs of both recreational and professional divers.
Coral Eye boats are designed for comfort and safety, featuring easy back-roll entry and equipped with oxygen, first aid kit, life jackets, and VHF radio. A shaded area and a sun deck comfortably accommodate six to eight divers, perfect for relaxing during surface intervals or enjoying the ride between dive sites.
For everyone’s comfort and safety, smoking is not permitted on board.
The dedicated conditioned camera room is designed to provide photographers with a convenient and safe environment to manage their equipment before and after underwater shoots. The workstation is provided with stabilized power outlets and in the diving center there is a dedicated rinse tank for cameras and an air gun.
Our rental shop is equipped with modern SCUBAPRO scuba diving and snorkeling equipment. Due to a limited number of full-sets, please let us know in advance if you need to rent any diving gear during your stay.
Our diving center offers a complete range of globally recognized diving courses.
Diving Plans
Whatever diving you’re planning, our staff will take care of your equipment, from assembling it before the dive to rinsing and storing it in your personal space at the dive center.
To keep the experience relaxed and personal, we limit our groups to a maximum of four divers per guide.

All dive sites are just 5 to 20 minutes away.
We organize two boat dives every morning with a one-hour surface interval, followed by a third dive in the afternoon.
Night dives are also part of our regular schedule.

Experience the ocean like never before with our Bonfire Night Dive, a truly otherworldly adventure beneath the surface. This unique type of night dive involves placing powerful lights on a sloping reef to attract fascinating marine life that migrates from the deep sea after dark.

Full Day Trips
On request, we can organize full-day diving excursions.
These trips include three guided dives, surface intervals with refreshments, and a lunch break in between. It’s an ideal way to explore the diverse marine environments around North Sulawesi in a single day.
Bunaken
Known for its stunning coral walls that drop steeply into the depths, Bunaken Marine Park is famous for its biodiversity and clear waters. Divers can encounter a wide array of marine life, including reef fish, sea turtles, sharks, and vibrant coral reefs.
lembeh
Lembeh Strait is celebrated as the "Critter Capital of the World." In its unique muck diving sites is possible to spot a plethora of rare and unusual marine creatures, including various species of octopus, frogfish, seahorses, and colorful nudibranchs.
Other Informations
We provide top-quality equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable diving experience.
We offer 12 and 15 litres aluminum cylinders, available with both INT and DIN connections to accommodate different types of regulators. Divers can choose between normal air or 32% Nitrox, depending on their certification and preference.
Diving is possible all year around, but the best time is from April to November. The water is normally around 28° to 30°.
The visibility is mostly very good (30mt) in summer, decreasing in winter due to the action of waves and rain.
Safety
As qualified divers, you are responsible for your own and your buddy’s safety during the dive, that’s why you will be requested to have a personal dive computer to be able to dive with us. If you don't have your dive computer it will be possible to rent one at our rental shop. We strongly recommend travelling with diving insurance that can cover medical expenses, emergency medical evacuations, hyperbaric treatments and more.
To dive with us it is mandatory to be covered by diving insurance.

DIVING courses
Our dive center offers courses for all levels, from beginner programs for those curious to try scuba diving, to advanced certifications for experienced divers looking to improve or expand their skills.
Courses are taught in small groups (maximum 2 students per instructor) and available in English, Italian, German, and Spanish. The theory portion is accessible online in most languages, so you can also get started before even arriving.
BEGINNERS
Bubble Maker
1 DAY
The Bubblemaker course is a fun and safe introduction to scuba diving, ideal for kids aged 8 and up. Conducted in the shallow water of the pool (maximum depth 2 meters), it allows young explorers to experience what it feels like to breathe underwater, always under the close supervision of a certified instructor.
Discover Scuba Diving
1 DAY
This program is perfect for those who want to try scuba diving without committing to a full certification course. After a short theory session and a pool practice, you'll join one of our instructors for a real dive in the ocean, always in a safe, shallow environment and under close supervision. No prior experience is required.
Open Water
3-4 DAYS
This is the first full certification course in scuba diving. Over three to four days, you’ll complete theory sessions, confined water training in the pool, and four open water dives in the ocean. By the end of the course, you’ll be certified to dive independently with a buddy to a depth of 18 meters. No prior experience is required, just basic swimming skills and comfort in the water.
CERTIFIED DIVERS
Scuba Review
1 DAY
If it’s been a while since your last dive or you simply want to refresh your skills, the Scuba Review is a great way to get comfortable in the water again. With an instructor by your side, you’ll review key safety procedures and practice basic skills before heading out for a dive.
Advanced
2-3 DAYS
This course is the next step after the Open Water certification and is designed to build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different types of dives. You'll complete five adventure dives, including Deep and Underwater Navigation, with three others of your choice, such as Peak Performance Buoyancy, Drift, or Night Diving.
Rescue
2-3 DAYS
Challenging and rewarding, the Rescue Diver course teaches you how to prevent and manage problems in the water, and how to assist other divers in case of emergency. You'll learn through theory, practical exercises, and realistic scenarios. It's a great way to become a more confident diver and a better dive buddy.
SPECIALITIES
Nitrox
1 DAY
Extend your bottom time and reduce surface intervals. The Nitrox specialty teaches you how to safely dive with air that has higher oxygen content, allowing for longer dives, especially when doing multiple in a day.
Deep
1-2 DAYS
Explore beyond the usual limits. This course gives you the skills and knowledge to dive safely to depths of up to 40 meters, where new environments and marine life await.
Buoyancy
1 DAY
Fine-tune your trim, master your breathing, and glide through the water with ease. This specialty helps you improve control and positioning, making every dive more comfortable and efficient.
