Into the Green Silence

Just a short boat ride from Coral Eye, the northern tip of Bangka Island reveals a quiet and fascinating landscape: its coastal mangrove forest.

The excursion begins with a scenic 20-minute ride along the shoreline, where our guide will share stories and insights about the island’s nature and culture. Upon arrival at the main mangrove channel, you’ll receive a short briefing while our crew prepares the kayaks and paddleboards.

From there, we’ll gently paddle into the calm waters, surrounded by the tangled roots and towering greenery of the mangroves. The stillness is only broken by the occasional call of birds echoing through the trees. As we leave the mangroves behind, the tour ends with an open-sea paddle and a stunning view of Talise Island on the horizon.

Whether you choose to kayak or paddleboard, no previous experience is needed. The rhythm is relaxed, the route is easy, and our guide is there to lead the way and share more about this peaceful and unique ecosystem.
